EDF and water sports

Through its presence and its role in the development of rivers, waterways and lakes, as well as of local communities, it is only natural that EDF is committed to water sports.
In this respect, EDF is an historical partner of the Fédération Française de Canoë-Kayak (French Canoeing/Kayaking Federation) and of the Fédération Française des Sociétés d'Aviron (French Federation of Rowing Associations).
More recently, EDF has also become a partner of the Fédération Française de Natation (French Swimming Federation).
EDF’s contribution to these three sports features the following in particular: support for the practice of these sports in the field, financial support of these sports on the national and local levels, as well as the insertion of top-level sportsmen and sportswomen in these disciplines within the company.
